hi again -
encoder: tmpgenc
after a few more tests with CQ, 2-pass, and automatic vbr, i personally preferred the quality produced by CQ
however, in some scenes the video stutters. is there any way around this?
current cq settings:
'quality' setting - 75
maximum - 3000
min - 300
motion - high (slow)
dc precision - 10 bits
i've tried fiddling with these figures but to no avail.
could it be due to slow hdd (4500 rpm) or cpu (800mghz)?
it would be great if someone can lend me some advice...ta =)
