I've been wrestling with creating a good backup of The Usual Suspects for about a week now due to an 8.5 sec audio delay. DVD2SVCD gave me audio without video at the end of CDs 1&2 and video without audio at the beginning of CDs 2&3, so I assumed it was cutting the mpv and mp2 seperately and muxing the parts. So I tried encoding the audio with headac3he with the audio delay inserted then muxing it with the mpv. It plays perfectly in PowerDVD, but when I tried cutting the full muxed mpg with TMPG, it leaves about 20 seconds with no audio at the end of parts 1&2. I've seen some other threads that indicate that bbMPEG is the best cutting tool out there, so is the problem with TMPG? I haven't tried bbMPEG yet, but I thought I'd get some ideas on whether or not the cutting tool is actually the problem, although I don't know what else it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
