Demux

I have created an avi file with an ac3 audio which i merged with vdub and now a month later i want to demux it and do other things with it. The prob is finding something to demux an avi..everything seems to be for mpg. Anyone know of something to separate these files back to the original format before vdub muxed them??

set audio to "direct stream copy" and use "save wav" to get the ac3 back, set audio to "no audio" ,video to "direct stream copy" and use "save avi" to get the video without sound.
