Ok so - when i turn an avi int mpeg with tmpgenc and play it on my dvd player it makes everything look to tall and narrow.......any ideas how to make them into widescreen or something so that it doesnt look to tall???

I use 4:3 pal aspect ratio at the moment.

Also every so often when playing a film it seems to stick on a frame then jump on a bit which isnt to much of a problem except it throws the sound way out of sync and then takes a while to slowly come back in sync.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a templete? I always use the templete by Sefy and I never change a thing.I load the 'proper' templete and hit start. If your going to use your own settings i'd say to leave you aspect ratio @ 1:1. Also....Make sure under the advanced tab in tmpg you select under Video Arange Method you select'Full screen(keep aspect ratio)'.
