IŽm just looking for a soundcard with following features:

cinch-audio-in and out
digital in - and output
no need for any ac3/dolby digital-decoder (If IŽll ever get a multi-channel amplifier the signal should come via digital out of the sound-card and decoded at the amp)

The best card I found until now: Terratec EWX 24/96

Any comments on or experiences with this soundcard or does anybody know a cheaper card which offers the requested features?

Thanks!

The Zoltrix Nightingale Pro6 has optical&coaxial digital IN/OUT...

...and it doesn't cost very much.

Dont get the SB audigy platinum, it is not worth the money, plus, the remote doesn't work well.

By the way: does anybody know if the Terratec EWX 24/96 uses TMS (track mark system), by which trackmarks are set automatically?
