No you can't copy a DVD 1:1 onto CD-RW - how should that be possible? You can convert it to something (AVI, VCD, SVCD, miniDVD) which you can then burn onto CD-R(W).
Don't buy a crap program package like the one you mentioned, there are many free alternatives around. To find out about them, read doom9's guides ...
