HI,

I would like to know if there is a batch file to do 2 pass in XviD using Dvd2avi with divx2auto as for divx4:
Start G:\dvd2avi\divx2auto.exe "WI00:Compression" "CB00:DivX Codec 4.12" BT04: WI01: ED00:850 ED06:250 "CB01:2-pass, first pass" BT00: WI00: BT02: QU00:

start /w G:\dvd2avi\dvd2avi.exe /saveavi H:\1.d2s

Start G:\dvd2avi\divx2auto.exe "WI00:Compression" "CB00:DivX Codec 4.12" BT04: WI01: ED00:850 ED06:250 "CB01:2-pass, second pass" BT00: WI00: BT02: QU00:

Start /w G:\dvd2avi\dvd2avi.exe /saveavi H:\1.d2s

is mine for divx4, so for XviD, is there one ?
thanks !

There won't be a version adopted for "autodivx" or whatever.

The author of autodivx is the person you want to contact. And maybe you want to change the way you're doing your encodings, because DVD2AVI / vfapi isn't the real HQ way to go ;)

Check the sticky 'XviD Q&A' topic here in this forum.

FlaskMpeg! Yeah! The best for dual support! Go FlaskMpeg Go!

Just pulling your leg matee :)

I suggest that you start reading Doom9's gknot section, and that you check out the Virtual dub forum...though i have never been to that forum myself.

Then come back to the Xvid forum a few days later and read about the recommended parameter settings for the Xvid codec.

But to be honest with you, you have heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and .......... heaps of stuff to read, and there is no guarantee that you would understand what you have just read.

Good Luck

Ps: I am still a noobie too :)
