cant copy to cdr

hello this is my first post on this excellent site.ive tried to explore the site for the answer to my problem and ive tried most things,but im afraid im still having trouble copying the files to cdr .everything went fine and i have a n excellent copy of "you have mail" on my hard drive in 2 seperate files that are named bb_MPEG_ Muxed fILE 1--+2 .but when i try to copy to a cd,and ive tried nero and fireburner it tells me there is not enough space on the disk .,and each file is 794megs in size .im thinking the obvious solution is that i need larger capacity cd,s-----but there again im not sure.id appreciate any advice -thanx a bunch

Let me guess ... you are trying to create an SVCD using dvd2svcd & you switched off the image creation, right?
If you want to just copy the files to CD-R, you will have to use 800meg/90min CD-Rs indeed - if you want to create an SVCD, select the appropriate project type in Nero ("SVCD") & they will miraculously fit on 700meg/80min CD-Rs :). SVCDs basically use no error correction, that's why more video data fit on a disc.
