Grey End Credits

I used luma masking and the end credits feature of XviD and I didn't notice this yesterday but I caught it today when playing with ogg containers. It started grey and eventually went away after all the trails from the moving credits. Not sure how this credits frame got turned grey but it started with a little grey box over the first few lines of credits then BOOM, the whole thing turned grey. Just letting yall know.

Edit: seems as if I don't know how to spell "GRAY" :scared:

sometimes if you set the %bitrate for credits too low, things go awry ... i've had that proble too, until i switched to const quants. now i get oversized files instead :p

Well, I always use for credits a fixed quantizer, and no problems with file size.

The forum seems kind of slow movement today :)

Maybe it’s something like the peaceful time before the storm (new build?) :)

yea, filesize was great, I just don't know where that grey came from.... actually I don't really care cause it is the credits anyway. But my first xvid with ogg turned out perfect otherwise... seeking is great.
