i'm new with cce, ant wanted to try the program, but it doesn't want to encode, it ponly gives this error: read only 0 bytes, while expecting 8 bytes:(

what could be wrong?

Are you trying to convert a avi which is larger than 2gig, this causes problems.

You will need to frameserve the avi to cce, avisynth for 2.50, or vfapi for newer versions.

no it's just a divx file of 615 mb, and no sound... could that be the problem?

i am having the same problem with my AVI's. they are all around 700mb and Divx. With sound so i dont think that is the problem,

cant help any futher than that though, soz
