I/O Error 1117 [Archive]

I always get an error (I/O Error 1117) when i Activated DVD-Ripping with DVD2SVCD! It works about half a minute and then disk stops writing and i get this error!
That´s since i implemented disk striping in my raid-System!

Has anyone got a tip or a trick for me???

Have you checked your aspi drivers that you have installed? Maybe check those makes sure its not corrupt or that you have it installed. Also make sure you play the movie in Power DVD or another software dvd player before you start to ripp.

Moved to the basic forum. Most questions belong here now.

Sounds like an ASPI problem. Do like chainsaw135 said and make sure you can play the DVD in WinDVD or PowerDVD. Also get SmartRipper and watch the way it authenticates if it uses Win I/O instead of aspi you probably have a problem. Grab the force aspi driver. The link is in the Q + A and it works well for most OS's.
