I just finally got around to testing out XviD which is actually faster than Divx4 on my p2400 machine (that's pentium II 400mhz). Anyway, I am very pleased with the results. I did a 1 CD RIP of about a 1:45 min movie where the video was at 615 megs and the resolution was a whopping 640x352 (mod32). It was nice being able to just type in the exact filesize I was looking for. I used what was recommended in Doom's Guide, 2 pass internal with luma masking. My gawd! Very impressive quality! If I get anywhere close to that quality at 640x232 for a 2 hour movie, I'm dropping from 2 CD down to one. Anyway, thanks to all who make this possible, so now I'm off to test out vorbis audio, and ogg media streams.
PS: Would it be feasible to add a button that defaults the settings for either one or two CD's?
