I seem to be unable to rename the CCE plugin that I have placed in the FlaskMPEG folder (Win98) so that it has a *.flask extension rather than *.prm, its Adobe Premiere extension. As such, Flask cannot recognise it. I have Adobe Premiere installed on the computer so the CCE plugin shows an Adobe Premiere icon. Can anyone help?

Problem solved!! Removing Premiere 6.0 did not fix the problem. Renaming the file in MS-DOS worked. You first need to find out the MS-DOS name of the file (by right-clicking on the file and choosing properties), e.g. cinema~2.prm.

Then open MS-DOS prompt, navigate to the directory where the plugin is. Actually, I moved it first to C:\temp because I couldn't make MS-DOS recognise C:\program files. Once in C:\temp, I typed

rename cinema~2.prm cinema~2.flask

Back to Windows Explorer where the file had the *flask extension and had taken on the Flask icon. I simply moved it back to the FlaskMPEG directory, renamed it cinemacraft.cm.flask and bingo, Flask recognizes it.
