DVDMaestro DOES support 16:9

I was fooling around with my copy of DVDMaestro today and noticed that at the bottom of the 'movie' screen (where you drop the mpg and ac3 tracks there is an indicator that says 4:3. Well, right mouse button on that box and you can select between several 16:9 versions.

Prior to discovering this, I would use IfoEdit to change line 200 after DVDMaestro finished.

Yeah, that, and some other useful stuff, is in Chapter 6 of the manual. It's easy to be fooled by the simple GUI, but Maestro is actually capable of very complicated and numerous things!

One (Stupid?) question about DVDMaestro.
How long is the compilng time on this program?
I have been compliling for 4-5 hours now on a 3.3 Gb movie on a Pentium III 800mhz
Is this normal?
Have been using DVDit before and its been a lot faster...

That sounds really long. My compile times for a 4.3gb movie are usually 10-15 minutes. I'm usually only compiling a video asset and a single audio asset (AC3) with no menu's or other fancy stuff. I find that you need to make sure you have your assets on a different drive than where you are compiling to or it slows things way down while the drive thrashes between source and target data. Even on my P3 800mhz machine I think I can compile in under 30 minutes.

Sigh...
It was my first time using the program, and it turnes out that my version just didn´t compile....

Back to the drawing board...

(or should I say to the endless hunt on the internet...)
