IntelHEVC

Hi everyone,
I would like to introduce StaxRip Next Gen, an independent continuation of StaxRip focused on hardware video encoding. The current pre-release is available for testing, together with the matching source code.
Main features:
- Intel Quick Sync through QSVEncC, NVIDIA NVENC through NVEncC and AMD hardware encoding through VCEEncC.
- Encoder-side video processing: resizing, cropping, padding, deinterlacing, denoising, sharpening, color conversion and HDR-to-SDR tone mapping, depending on the encoder and hardware.
- AviSynth+ and VapourSynth integration for source loading, indexing and preview.
- Audio processing, batch job management and muxing to MKV, MP4 and TS/M2TS, as well as elementary video output.
- HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision metadata options where supported.
- A portable 64-bit Windows package with the .NET 10 desktop runtime included. No separate .NET installation is required.
Software video encoders have been removed. Video encoding is performed by the selected hardware encoder; available codecs and features depend on the GPU and driver.
Dolby Vision L5 and DV Offset:
For Dolby Vision material with available Level 5 metadata, StaxRip creates an additional HDRDVmetadata_L5.json file. Tools > DV Offset launches the integrated Python tool to adjust Level 5 active-area offsets in the Dolby Vision RPU for downscaled HEVC output. It injects the adjusted RPU into a new HEVC file without resizing or re-encoding the video. Full-frame dimensions must be preserved; cropped image dimensions are not supported. The tool currently works with .hevc output; MKV support is planned.

Download StaxRip-Next-Gen-Pre-Release.7z for the complete portable program. StaxRip-Source-L5-DV-Offset.zip contains the matching source code.
This is an independent project, not an official release of the original StaxRip project. Thanks to stax76, Dendraspis and all previous StaxRip contributors, as well as the authors of the included encoders and tools.
Feedback and bug reports are welcome. Please include the application and encoder versions, GPU, driver, source format and relevant log excerpt.
