Hi guys
I just came across this weird issue, where I would capture subtitled animé, but some subtitles blend in just when a duplicate happens, making TDecimate (from the TIVTC plugin) think, this is not a duplicate (scores > 10).
I think, I might have a solution:
- Make an analysis run with the following command:
tdecimate(mode=4,output="metrics.txt")
- Make a second analysis run with the following commands:
crop(0,X,-0,-Y)
tdecimate(mode=4,output="metrics-crop.txt")
where X the value to crop the upper subtitles, and Y the value to crop the bottom subtitles
- Copy the CRC32 value from the metrics file, and paste it into the metrics-crop file, else TIVTC will think, this is a different video, and won't load.
- Remove the crop line from your AVS script, and use the metrics-crop file as your input. For example:
tdecimate(input="metrics-crop.txt") and encode your video.
I hope this helps.
