Hey folks, I am a long-time AviSynth user looking to deinterlace some of my old footage.
Naturally, i've been using QTGMC. When doing research for what version to use (it seems there are many...) I came across this: https://jaded-encoding-thaumaturgy.github.io/vs-jetpack/api/vsdeinterlace/qtgmc/#vsdeinterlace.qtgmc.QTempGaussMC
I looked into it and apparently this VapourSynth version is a full remake with many speed optimizations, bug fixes, and algorithm quality improvements!! Unfortunately, VapourSynth confuses me and I do not know how to script with it.
Has anyone considered backporting this version of QTGMC to AviSynth???
Thank You.
