yo!
i tried to backup several DVDs with multiple (language-related) angles. If i use the original IFO, the angle are getting encoded, as they are in the stream ... on after another (great :-(( ...
i try to strip the unnecessary VOB-IDs with IFOEDIT and make a new IFO, which worked on one backup, but i realized that mostley DVD2SVCD cannot read the new generated IFOs !
PowerDVD/WinDVD can play them ... but i cannot make a conversion with em.
has anybody a good tipp for me?

First, did you try using the internal ripping routines in dvd2svcd? If answer is yes then please send the ORIGINAL IFO to dvd2svcd via the email address in the about tab of the program.

@fritzbrause If you want help you must give more information then what you just gave. People that help out and work on this forum can't read minds, and its a shame to see people are still to lazy to go read the newbie faq's and just read the forums threads themselves before posting.

Use the internal ripper in DVD2SVCD. If you don't have access to the DVD anymore, try using internal ripper on the already ripped files. Your problem is that you use Smartripper in FileMode, then you get all the files + all the angles, no stripping is performed.

Basically after you're first post you gave the information needed which was you didnt use the internal ripper, and if you would of read the forums you would know that you should always use the internal ripper that comes with dvd2svcd before any other. That was my point. U came back with the information later on and you got your answer.
