Why does no one really care about the D3D12 Video Renderer? So, does it really make no difference compared to v11?

Does this comparison really hold true? (Check the attached PDF)

Well, just write it. What's the problem? Or pay someone to write it.

He didn't ask you to write one, he asked why no-one has created one.

there is a d3d12 version of mpcVR. which as far as i know adds absolutely nothing. while the switch from d3d9 to d3d11 actually gives stuff that is useful for video renderer.

@PCU
1. Direct3D 12 offers no real advantages over Direct3D 11 in video decoding and processing. This has been written about many times on this forum.
2. Direct3D 12 supports fewer video decoding formats than Direct3D 11. For example (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=2022204#post2022204).
3. Your attached PDF was written by a neural network.

Oh, sorry for not checking the forums carefully, as always: Aislop!
I don't want to start a new topic, so video/audio decoders, if they are standard, don't differ from each other, right? And also, WASAPI vs ASIO, right?
And in FFmpeg 8.1.1, which formats are not fully decoded (Microsoft and Dolby Atmos, for example?)
