I read this on Eizo's website.

Almost all the monitors in North America and Europe use 6500K backlights.

Does this mean media watched from Japan looks wrong? Or they're adjusted to target 6500K when they're streamed or a disc is made?

they use d65 for releases like everyone else cinema releases are maybe d60. there is some talks for broadcast analogue been 9300k you can ignore that a DVD isn't.
