I've created multiple Kodi add-ons to simplify Blu-ray playback with them.
Originally I created an add-on to download and sync the keydb.cfg in LibreELEC (https://libreelec.tv/) on a RaspberryPi - but when I tried to play a Blu-ray in Kodi Windows a few days later, I noticed that setup of the proper Java is really a pain and created another addon to download and integrate a Java Runtime Environment into Kodi in an easy way.
Next I tried my 2 add-ons on the old Intel Macbook of my wife and learned that the macOS builds of libreelec do not include all files relevant for Blu-ray playback and in the end a 3rd add-on has been created.
As manual installation of the add-ons and keeping them updated is really cumbersome, another "small" repo add-on has been created and now those add-ons can be installed in a simple way and are updated automatically in case they are changed.
So overall there are at the moment 4 addons available:
FindVUK Kodi Addon Repo
Blu-ray KEYDB
Blu-ray Java
Blu-ray macOS
Each of the add-ons has various options in the settings - so check them if interested.
Source code is public and hosted at Codeberg (https://codeberg.org/bluray_nalor/findvuk_kodi_addon)
How-to for installation is available on the FindVUK Online Database (https://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/)
In case of questions or problems don't hesitate to ask :)
