I have the Metallica: Cunning Stunts DVD and I would like to take the audio and make my own audio cds to listen to when I'm not at home or whatever. What is the easiest way (if there is a way) to do this? Is it possible to just somehow rip the audio out and get it divided into tracks as it is on the actual DVD? I.e. on the DVD I can select a track and go straight to that song, just like on an audio cd. Having the whole thing in one track would be a bit of a bitch to handle, so this way would be much preferable if at all possible.

i think the songs are divided into chapters. so you could rip the ac3 stream from every chapter to harddisk with smartripper and convert it to .wav for burning it to an audio-cd.

Hi,
An alternative is to rip the ac3 stream from the movie and use Azid to convert it to wav format.
From there it's really easy to use a wav-editor (soundforge or something similar) to chop up the wav's...
