Hi. I just finished encoding a movie to SVCD. Now I have 3 cue/bin files. I cant use FireBurner or CDRwin as they both (at least i think) dont support my Drive (Sony CRX160E) and give errors. So I extracted the mpg file from the bin file using IsoBuster and proceeded to use Nero5572 to burn that. But During Menu Creation When I right click on the dragged mpg and click on properties and click on the Menu tab according to step 5 of this guide :

My compute Just hangs??? Can anyone tell me da problem and/or suggest any other way?

Thx.

Well fireburner is not recommended anyways so thats good you are not using it. Cdrwin will give errors if you did not buy the program, and are using a bad reg code.

I dont do menus sorry:)

What program are you using to make your SVCD? Im guessing your using DVD2SVCD. If so, Im not sure cause I dont use it but I think there is an option to tell it not to make an image just to put out a mpg. That way you dont have to extract the mpg from the bin/cue.

I am using DVD2SVCD but my problem is not with that. Its specifically with authoring and Menu Creation. I want to be able to create menus. I was wondering if some one has done that and what software have they used?

Thx.

There is a workaround.

Just make the bin/cue files as usual with vcdimager (and any tool/frontend you want) and then mount them as if they were already burned to CD with Daemon Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.com/daemon_tools.htm), so with that "virtual CD" you can test ir on the PC or you can copy it to a "real" CD using your favourite tool (Nero, Diskjuggler, whatever you like) using CD to CD copying.
