Samsung is creating HDR10+ Advanced and will release it in 2026. Amazon prime video will add support for it:

Most discs I've seen come with DoVi/HDR10 only. I have seen only a couple with HDR10+... I understand the open nature of HDR10+ and support that, but I wonder why bother when it doesn't get adopted by the major studios. And now comes Advanced, yet the normal version hasn't taken off at all.

it is aimed at streaming services not discs.

HDR10+ is much more common in streaming than on disc. 100% of Prime Video HDR-10 content has HDR10+ metadata, for example.
Discs make a tiny and shrinking fraction of what streaming does these days, and so are seeing much less innovation.
