Hi,
Are there some DTS Audio Extractor 7.1 on market ?
I need to put in a DTS-ES 6.1 Matrix and obtain 7 waves file on PC (Audacity)
Or, better, there is something via software? I read something about ArcSoft...
Thanks

To extract a matrixed center channel from a stereo audio (now SL-SR from the original DTS-ES 6.1) you can use the CenterCut tool (http://www.moitah.net/download/latest/Center_Cut_GUI.zip) from moitha (https://www.moitah.net/)

I don't know nothing like that this.

I dont know for what you need that, let the decode like 5.1 with the phantom back center channel matrixed.
That play fine in 5.1 or 7.1 audio systems.

To obtain a 6.1 Matrix any pre-existent BC channel is analog mixed to SL-SR channels, after that, it's impossible to recover the original three channels without loss, and the best method is to treat the audio as 5.1, allowing the phantom channel to play back as phantom.
The center-cut algorithm (https://www.virtualdub.org/blog2/entry_102.html) is very sophisticated but it does not guarantee exact recovery and simply does not exist.

I'm known to believe that 6.1 and 7.1 audio/equipment are useless for 2D surround playback; 5.1 is more than sufficient.

Recode a DTS 6.1 Matrix to an AC3 5.1 640 Kb/s and you obtain the same surround 2D with less size.
