Hi there,
I am running quality tests using 1.0.7 b1 with tmpgenc and cce. (ce rulez so far)
The source is deinterlaced, field A. I checked this with dvd2avi->tmpgenc deinterlace filter and bitrateviewer also. They both gave the same result.
Tmpgenc with its default settings (top field first) works fine. That's what I expected.
CCE makes an output that clearly has field order problems. Choppy output on TV. When I disabled the default "top field first" which means bottom, then the output was OK.
This was a 4:3 PAL interlaced movie. My friend also found this and when he tried with 16:9 PAL with the default settings (top field) it seemed to be OK in both cases.
Anybody experienced this? If it is confirmed then there must be a minor UI bug on b1 CCE tab.
Thanks,
Z
