Hi everyone. I'm new in the forum. i doscovered this DVD2SVCD only two weeks ago. I have a bad english, sorry abot that. So read the newbie guide it is not easy at all. Owever I did it and I have still a couple of question:
1) How can I tell to the program that I will use 80 min CD instead of 74, and optimize the file size in this way?
2) You suggest do not use nero. Unfortunatly I have a Pioneer A03 DVD burner which is not cponfidential with VCDI Imager. So I must use nero, I think. Following the guide there is a metod to burn it anyway, but with mpg extension. How can I burn It, I had generate image files!
Thank everibody.

Process your files first in TMPGenc and folow the wizard. It takes a lot of time but it is the best metode to a newbee as us.
What kind of language can you speak?...

posting at the right place - DVD2SVCD basics - should be the first step...

about 80min: change all CD sizes from 740 to 800.

about the cue/bin images burning with nero: use its latest version.

@nsklanfra

The disc size setting is under the tab [BITRATE]
which is quite logical even if confusing in the first view...

just change everything to 800 instead of 740 and youŽll always go for 700 MB CDRŽs

The numbers there are a bit confusing cause the CDŽs actually donŽt hold 800 megs but 80 minutes/700 MB.

If Nero trashes your CDR (it does, even in the latest version sometimes) then you may try CDRWIN.
