I'm interested in learning about all things related to digital video technology, all the way from videography to both the software and hardware sides of encoding and storing audiovisual data and playing it back, so basically the whole chain from capturing the data on camera, processing it on a computer, and finally presenting it through a monitor.
As I have very limited time for extra reading, and also spend too much time glued to the screen as it is, I would mostly prefer the audio format, so audio books, podcasts, YouTube channels that work well enough as audio rips, and so on. That said, if you have an excellent book recommendation that is not available, or very hard to find, in audio format, please go ahead and let me know!
(P.S. Sorry for posting this in the wrong place at first)

If books is what you're looking for, I would definitely recommend those from Charles Poynton, the inventor of luma. Great guy, I had the honor to witness one of his lectures a long time ago, he's a reference point everyone listens to in this field.

Thank you for the recommendations! I forgot to mention that a healthy dose of relevant psychology, maybe even sociology/cultural studies, would also be very welcome. I would be very happy indeed if there was something very multidisciplinary like An Introduction to Audiovisual Sciences in the Digital Age.

I just skimmed through these two books and they are amazing.
Do you perhaps know of more books similar to the ones you posted (for beginners who want to learn more)?
