Soon I will buy a laptop that has an RTX 4090 graphics card or an RTX 4080 graphics card. I want to install MPC-HC with MadVR.

Can someone please list for me all the important settings that I should use? I don't know how to pick the best settings to make my 1080p movies look nicer.

Also, what should I do about the bad sound issue that I mentioned in https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=186029? I have been using FXSound. It's an amazing program but the problem is if I plug in\unplug my PS4 controller then the sound stutters a bit if I am playing a game or watching a movie. I couldn't figure out how to stop that from happening. Should I do what clsid said in my post instead of using FXsound?

3. Upscaling / Downscaling Algorithms
Since your source is 1080p, you’re probably not upscaling on a 1080p screen—but if you ever watch on a 4K or 1440p external monitor best ice maker (https://iceartisan.com/best-ice-maker/), use these settings:

This looks like a bad AI post. What is with the ice maker?

I don't agree with many of these suggestions.
Examples:
Exclusive Mode is not useful anymore.
Smooth Motion does not introduce a 'Soap Opera' smoothness, it isn't the normal smooth motion we see other places.
Sharpening should not be on by default
Dithering should always be on, a 10 bit panel does not make dithering useless. Ordered is great, ED is pointless.
Do not output in limited range!

Also, I think NGU AA is better than Standard or Sharp, especially for chroma.
