Hi,
I want to move from Windows to Linux for my DVD production (I dont mnid using one of my windoze boxes to write the DVD). What i have is 4 boxes 2X1Ghz Athlons and 1X1.3Ghz P4 + 1X 1.7Ghz P4.
I can use xawtv i think to capture from my Radeon AIW (using gatos for the ATI driver for video4linux). I'm just not sure how to proceed. I want to utilze all boxes for parallel encoding.
Now which is the best encoder to use for DVD on Linux ? , the only issue is speed and quality. I currently use Cinemacraft encoder on each of the boxes with 17 2GIG avi files.
advice please...
