I want to play dash stream in old MPlayer version, without yt-dlp support. I use the "-audiofile" option for playing separate audio stream, e.g. "mplayer videostream_url -audiofile audiostream_url". But this doesn't work for MPlayer GUIs, so need to play from one file, maybe m3u8 or something else. Does m3u8 support playback video and separated audio stream? I tried to use this examples (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8216#section-8.6), but without results.

Both MPC-HC and MPC-BE can do this.

I tried it, but it worse, than MPlayer, maybe you talk about new versions, but I need to use old versions for Windows XP. Old versions of MPC-HC/BE works very slowly with network streams. The best way is to use MPlayer based players and just need solution to play separated video and audio from network streams.

But I use now yt-dlp with MPlayer and it works, the main problem - it works with dash streams only without GUI. Would be better to use GUI, but it doesn't support MPlayer parameters from command prompt.
