View Full Version : Odd colours with HDR in MPC-HC (yt-dlp)

Hello,

Does anyone know how to fix the following issue? When playing for example this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejSf_YwFbAA) Youtube video in MPC-HC with yt-dlp I get all these strange colours. For example all faces are greenish.
I always use the latest versions of MPC-HC and yt-dlp

It is a poorly encoded video. They messed up conversion from Dolby Vision to HDR.

Unrelated, but unless there's a reason for it, your video playback experience with these videos will be better at 60 Hz instead of 50.

Thanks for the advice, but I already set MPC-HC to auto change refresh rate accordingly when going full screen :)
