Shutdown=Bluescren - WHY???. All Version 105, 106, 107 testet with:
K7s5a ECS,
K7VZA ECS,
Asus TUSLC.

My System is Win 98 SE.

Shutdown from Windows - no Problem.

Have you tried the Prime95 torture test on your system?
What about a memory tester like Goldmemory?
There must be something wrong with your system.

Not to sound rude, but windows 98se is junk try upgrading to windows 2000 or xp. And as mark has said test your system for stability. Also it could be software you have installed.

see if you can shutdown with sleepy and if that encounters any problems too. it's freeware btw http://sleepy.sashazur.com/

Have you loaded the 98SE patch from Microsft? This fixes shutting down problems.
