Hi, I am looking for some filter to remove artifacts and compression noise from this video sample. I have already tried mclean, mdegrain3, lnmeans, dftest neo, fft3dneo and mctemporaldenoise. Some of them work a little better than others, but none of them can effectively remove the artifacts without washing out the image.
sample (the noise it's in the dark areas where is the building)

Thanks in advance for any help

Download works now, had a quick glance:
Looking at the source while applying Retinex to see the compression artifacts you want to remove:

Have you tried using a luma masking to only filter the dark areas and then apply your denoising&co?
This way it should not wash out the details in the brighter areas.
(you could also simply drop some of the darker parts to black using Tweak and similar,..)

This looks like AI sh... stuff, consult the AI that was used to produce this video instead, if you have the original video.
The video is 51 Mbps AVC, it's high enough that the so called artifact is not likely from "this layer" of compression.

I'll try it, thanks a lot Selur!
