Hello i would like to convert my mini dvd tapes to mpeg 2 (svcd) and i would just like to know what the procedure is. Currently i am using Ulead and the highest res i can save is 720x480 in avi format. I tried using TMPGEnc but the end result always looked terrible for e.g the size was narrow vertical or horizontal and when the camera is moving fast there are lines in the image. Basicaly what i want to do is put all my mini cassettes onto svcd (dvd is too expensive)i don't mind if i have to cut the 60 min tape onto two cds. Any help would be great. :D
