gnoise (clip, float "sigma", int "seed", bool "color", bool "temporal", bool "info")

GNoise adds the same amount of noise to both luma and chroma (if color=true).

How do I add different amounts of noise to luma and chroma with GNoise, if possible?

If it's got to be gnoise (r5 from 2005, 8-bit, x86)
Yy=gnoise(last,10,96,false,true,false)
Yb=gnoise(UtoY(),6,96,false,true,false)
Yr=gnoise(VtoY(),8,96,false,true,false)
YtoUV(Yb,Yr,Yy)
Poor results, but good if the goal is to create some "vintage" and coarse looking FX
Or use f3kgrain.
If you need more controls (size of grain matching to 4 brightness ranges): I would use GrainFactory3mod.
Or: (have to find it...)

Might be slower than Emulgator's example, or not....

V1 = gnoise(10, 96, false, true, false)
V2 = gnoise(6, 96, true, true, false)
MergeChroma(V1, V2)

Why not just use AddGrainC?

Tried Adaptive Grain Mask (https://github.com/Asd-g/AviSynth-AGM)?

DeGrainMedian to add grain? Can you elaborate on that a bit? (seems counterintuitive)

I've linked the wrong repository. :(

P.S: Actually, before adding more ordered grain I remove almost any ;)
