On my TV OLED 65LZ1000 connected to the 4080s via HDMI for films and videogames, on Win10, I have a color banding problem on games (especially in the sky)
I as settings I put RGB, maximum, 10 bit (I can also choose 12)
But I read that it would be better to put YCBCR 4: 4: 4 which, however, has the limited range, what do you recommend to put between RGB and 444 and also between 10 and 12 bits? It is strange that the TV panel is a 10bit but snacks the 12 selectable on the Nvidia menu
Anyway, does anyone know how to solve color banding in videogames?

Have you tried 8-bit to see if games still have banding? 12 bit input support is standard now, not very useful for 10 bit content on 10 bit panels, but common. Also, try adjusting settings on your TV. Some options cause banding even when they don't seem like they should. The TV's Color Management System will often cause banding if you try use it to improve color accuracy.

The choice between YCbCr 444 and RGB is dependent on the TV too. RGB is what Windows uses natively and what the panel needs to display, but most (all?) TVs convert to YCbCr 4:2:2 internally unless in a PC mode. Have you tried the ChromaRes.png (https://madshi.net/madVR/ChromaRes.png) test image? View it at 100% scaling (not resized) and without any sharpening. It should looks the same on your monitor and the TV.

video games and banding is pretty much by design reshade with a deband filter can help.

i'm not aware of a single game that dithers.
