IrfanView Animated AVIF Support

Whenever I open an animated AVIF in IrfanView, it only plays the first frame. I also have the AVIF plugin installed and it still won't work. What should I do so it plays all of the frames?

Nah I'd watch the original video instead of doing trash conversion. (If you are wondering, no I did not read JJK, just using the meme here.)

Realistically you can't do anything. You don't magically make features function (or, make it magically appear first).
Make a feature request. Or develop your own plugin (which doesn't seem to be viable for irfanview).

I agree, he should file a feature request, AND wait. Forever.
Because the developer of IrfanView is VERY careless or lazy.:D
You see, Irfan needed an entire eternity to add Unicode-filenames support to the 64-bit edition of his GREAT :cool: image viewer.
And he probably will need another eternity to stop thinking the letters A: and B: MUST MEAN floppy drives on Windows. :scared: :rolleyes: :p

How do develop my own plugin that will support playing animated AVIF files?

For what it's worth, Firefox, Chrome, and Edge play the file.
