Hello everyone!

I wish you a merry Christmas a happy Festivus and a happy new year.
This year i decided to stop writing one script every year. To be honest i am out of ideas. And since i have a new job and don't work with video anymore, i also don't use avisynth anymore. If someone wants to continue with a yearly script, please go on, but maybe use one of the new tools like VapourSynth.

I had a lot of fun doing this, but all good things must come to an end.

Jokes aside, thank you hanfrunz for keeping it alive for so many years, it's honestly been fun. :)
It's been another good year with 259,896 files processed with Avisynth, up 25% from the year before.

It's the end of 2024, which means that next year Avisynth turns 25. Yep, 25 years old, you heard that right and despite seeing people come and go in the community, the fact that it has been kept updated, that it's still very much relevant today and that is not considered as *a frameserver* but *the frameserver* just tells the story of how successful this project turned out to be.

Here's to Avisynth, here's to the open source community, it's been an amazing adventure and hopefully it will still be going for many years to come!


A special "thank you" as always goes to Ferenc and Stephen who just kept going no matter what and they're the main reason why we're all here celebrating another year.

We'll see what 2025 has for us but for now I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

Emulgator PortalScope added. {Thanks Emulgator too :)}

Small changes to original HanFrunz_XMas_Extravaganza.avs,
2022 script broke original script if user changed FAR (Frame Aspect Ratio) to 4:3 [Canvas for ALL Hanfrunz scripts, are many different sizes].
Plays all Hanfrunz scripts, 2010 -> 2023, + Emulgator provided 2024 script (renamed in 7z to 2024.avs).

Uh-oh.
Animate (and all floats since last release) works in 64bit double precision. Animate's previously working interpolating formulas are now resulting in such interpolated values, which do not fit into the start-end range.
In this case, step 1 of 574 resulted in 360.00000000000006 which is outside the 0..360 range. The fix will be release shortly.

Fixed Animate, which has a glitch preventing running Xmas scripts.

20251225 3.7.5.r4403 (pre 3.7.6)

Fix: The Animate() function now explicitly clamps interpolated values to ensure they remain
strictly between the start and end range. Due to the high precision of 64-bit double introduced
in v3.7.5, intermediate calculations could slightly exceed the boundary (e.g., 360.00000000000006
when interpolating from 0 to 360.0 in 564 steps), requiring this clamp to prevent out-of-range errors.
