I made a post at VH, because it's a better video host. You can download the src links and comparison videos there

Long story short, InterpAny-Clearer, using the EMA-VFI-DR is an improvement for the dreaded "picket fence" issues encountered during video frame interpolations using basically any algorithm

What about the comparison in processing speed? (I know, it's not a fair comparison untill there's good VapourSynth port of EMA-VFI-DR)

What about the comparison in processing speed?

I didn't benchmark speeds, but quite slow. I'd say about 4-8x slower than RIFE 4.x

EMA-VFI (original) is already slower than RIFE 4.x original models

All the DR,TR,D,T variants are slower than the "original" base models. e.g DR-RIFE would be slower than RIFE original

Increasing the iterations makes things even slower . The default iterations is 2

I've been waiting about 15 years for something like this. I can tolerate slow if it solves bad scenes. You can read my old posts about various interpolation issues with Twixtor, Pixel Motion, MVtools
