Hi all, I have been trying to migrate to madvr, but now facing some really difficult problems.

First let me show the screenshot of a fresh install with K-Likte Codec Pack Full (with madvr):

And after I manually change to MPC Video Renderer, the video is correctly rendered:

Same could be reproduced in potplayer.

Althogh MPC Video Renderer works, I really wish to try madvr but having no idea if it is a bug of madvr or not.

I am using a laptop with dual GPU, Intel Iris Xe from 12500H and a 3050Ti (BTW it is connected to a monitor with lid closed)

A lot of tutorials mention that output color range should be set to Full RGB, but I do not have such settings in the control panel of GPU:

I am really gratitude if anyone could help, or tell me where could I report this issue to upstream.

Afaik, one of the recent Intel driver versions was buggy with Madvr. Newer Intel hardware works poorly with DirectX9 in general, and Madvr also uses DX9.

In the Windows advanced display settings, you can configure Windows to use the NVIDIA GPU for MPC-HC/Potplayer.

cannot believe it, that's exactly what has been causing this problem.

Thanks so much!!

just to be clear you didn't fix the issue you workaround it other system that don't have a 3050 will still be in the same boat.

the main issue here is this is a madVR issue but it comes from a GPU driver issue.

Yes, thank you, I agree. If the gpu driver, intel, provides a malfunctioning driver, it could be disastrous. However as a consumer, I cannot do anything to help that.

wang1zhen, may I ask which Intel driver version you were running?
I am on 31.0.101.5534 here, Intel UHD Graphics 750.
Not running madVR ATM, but would be good to know anyway.
