View Full Version : How to revert image order?

I'm a cheapskate and still use free abandonware Premiere Pro 2.0 and have little HDD space left on my system drive for big, bloated apps. Hence, especially Vdub (and VDub 2) is still my only reliable tool that doesn't entirely mess up my colorspace ("levels") with HD footage, with the convenience of direct stream copy and even when converting footage into another codec.

What I need now is a very simple filter: Reverting the image order so that the video runs backwards, either with direct stream copy of the video part, or with output to HuffYUV. Preferrably for VDub, VDub 2, AVISynth, or Xmedia Recode, or tools with a similar low system-drive space requirement.

In avisynth, Reverse()

Argh, sorry, I meant Avidemux! :scared: It's been 25 years now that I've been enitely incapable to even just open files by means of AVIsynth or MPlayer/MEncoder, no matter how much I've tried.

You can try this in vdub2

There is a trick (some people found it too difficult) to reverse video only (not the sound): use fflayer filter, point it the file you want to reverse, set follow timeline from to last frame number, rate -1.
