Planet of the Apes - Directors comments?

Hi All,

Sorry for this but I have been searching for the answer on this all day to no avail :(

I have made 2 x SVCD from the UK DVD of Planet of the Apes (Using DVD2SVCD Latest)but when playing the SVCD's back there seems to be some directors cut pop up windows that interfere with the film (Sorry not too sure how to explain it). Am I doing something wrong or have I missed something in the many read me's I have been following?

Hi,

I had a similar problem with mission impossible II. What i did was rip the dvd with vstrip (within dvd2svcd) to HD than started crash recovery afterwards and the directors commentary (i had no pop-up window of any sort) was gone. Don't ask me why but it worked. Hope it will help you.
