View Full Version : MPC BE - Don't show cover art panel

I use MPC BE for audio only. I want the player window to be as small as possible.

I have selected the Compact preset.

The only problem is that the top 50% of the player window is a panel for cover art and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Thank you @sunspark but unfortunately setting that to 'hide the video area' has made no difference.

Report it as a bug in the BE thread.

Try MPC-BE 1.6.11.189.

Try MPC-BE 1.6.11.189.

Thank you @v0lt

Installing MPC-BE.1.6.11.196_git2024-03-08-df7eca052.x64-installer.zip from https://github.com/qwerttvv/Player/releases has sorted that.

One very minor gripe is that when the video area is hidden there doesn't seem to be anywhere to right click to get the menus to appear, but it's easy enough to temporarily resize the panel to do so. So only a very minor issue.

Thank you again for sorting that!

Keep on forgetting I have a keyboard infront of me! Yes, that worked perfectly, thank you @huhn

Windows AV is complaining about some of those releases.
