Blu-ray ROM4 Format Specification

Hello,

I'm looking for the mentioned specification, https://blu-raydisc.info/format-spec/rom4-spec.php

$5,000 for all three books is a bit expensive I'd say. At minimum I'd need
Ultra HD ROM version 4 Book 24 "Part 3: Audio Visual Basic Specifications v.3.xx"
if there is a chance to get it through different paths.

No chance if you are an individual, unfortunately, and it pisses off everyone.

The licensing program is available to registered companies, not to individuals.

But, what would be your needs? Most of the specifications were carried from v1.x/v2.x to v3.x without any changes (HDMV PGS, IGS...), or just dropped entirely (PIP, TextST). Only elements related to MPLS, STN Table, HDR, HDR-to-SDR, and DV would be new. Surprisingly, HEVC encoding parameters are egiven in the White Paper.

We had BD book in my old company (2 parts I think).
It probably still there with my bosses on the shelf or it was thrown away :)
As far as I'm aware there were only printed (unique) versions. Maybe it changed.

an3k, if you had some specific questions perhaps forum members could help with them.Thank you. I wanted to help finding the book(s) to help BDEdit developer pel - since he needs them.

Maybe back in the day it was different but "currently" they want the book back once the subscription ends :scared:

There are definitely digital version of the BD specifications. Its not quite as super secretive as they tried DVD to be back in the day.

At the time we bought it (start of BD) I'm almost sure there was no digital version.
Each printed version was with unique ID printed on every page (if I'm correct). What happened later I have no idea.
