Any updated ways to import an avs script into VS?

AVISource isn't working and vsavsreader crashes upon loading. Is there any other way to do this or am I stuck saving the video from the AVS file and importing that into VS?

As for why not just load the video directly into VS? Because there are a few AVS features still unavailable in VS.

What does that mean? Proper bug reports or it didn't happen.
