hi there,

I was wondering how to find out with which codec a movie is encoded. You can't tell from the file properties tab of e.g. zoomplayer, can you?

I'm asking because I would like to buy the Sigma Systems DivX PCI card once it's available. But it only supports DivX 4.12+.
So I want to check my movies if they're all DivX 3.11 I won't buy the card.

Thanks for your help,

Ken

I hope it's the right forum, sorry if not!

Use Nandub or Virtual Dub. Open file (Ctrl-O) then Alt...File...Information.
