Hello, I have some problem with the MPEG generated by DVD2SVCD, the result file (MPG-2 by bbmpeg and TMPENCG) is posible to see using Windows Media Player (also burn in CD and see in DVD player) but I want to edit this MPEG. This is the problem, I'm using TMPENGC to cut o convert but the respond: format not supported, Premiere 6 (Imposible to import) and Ulead MediaStudio 6.5 (only I can listen audio and black picture)... WHY?????

Somebody can help me, pleaseeee.

If i understand you correct which i kinda think i might, you are saying that you try to play the mpeg 2 in windows media player/???? Well if thats what your saying that is not good because windows media player is not any good for playing mpeg 2 files, try using Power DVD Or another popular dvd software player.

Use TMPGEncs MPEG tools for that

I tried to do, but doesn't work. My main problem is to edit MPEG-2 file as result od DVD2SVCD (mux. by bbmepg). I don't have problem with the M2V result, only with the MPEG-2.

Have you tested the mpeg2 file?? Run it through a software dvd player make sure it works.

Yes, I see the film in DVD player, I burn with Nero the MPEG-2 file. This night I try to cut MPEG-2 file with TMPEG-Tools and it wazs posible to see the movie, but when I try to open to resize convert to another format with TMPEG this show the message-> format not support, but I can see with dvd player(TV) and windows media (PC).

I don't understand why I don't see, import... in main menu of TMPEG but I can see in the TMPEG-tool menu merge-cut the same file MPEG-2????

you first have to open the file with DVD2AVI, there you "save project" and then you should be able to open te new .mp2 (generated by DVD2AVI) with TMPGEnc. As you will mention DVD2AVI generates a video and an audiofile. so you have to set the audiosource in TMPGEnc too.
as far as i understood those processes DVD2AVI only seperates video from audio, so the quality should be untouched.
