I have a bad habit of downloading files to fix problems I'm having, forgetting what those files are for, and then suffering those same problems again the next time I wipe my hard drive, spin up a new virtual machine, get a new computer, whatever.
Today's question is about ffms2-2.40-msvc
Compared to the normal version of ffms2, does this JUST resolve Visual C++ dependency issues, and not do anything for XP compatibility?
I also have a copy of Lsmash that actually has "XP" in the filename so I can probably use that while I wait for this question to get answered.
EDIT: never mind, found this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=184521), problem solved.
