CCE Signature thingee ?

With DVD2SVCD, using CCE, I get the Cinema Craft Encoder Signature thing in the corner ? I think its just me cos, I havent seen anyone else complaining about it, I find it quite annoying having that little sig in the corner ( kinda spoils the movie). Is there a version that doesnt have the sig built in ? or maybe I have just not crax0red it properly ? Also with the crax0r it says

"HOW TO CRACK IT
===============
Execute the program and right click on the nag screen. click on options, now go to the
About sheet and click on registration. Use The Following Information."

Cept, I dont get that at all ? Is it my version, or am I just doing something wrong. ? Any help is much appreciated.

yes the shareware/trial version of cce any version has the logo on the bottom. i f you dont like it, buy it;)

Yeah, just another thought, would'nt you class DVDRipping as Warez, seeing as you are practically ripping off the Companies that produce DVD's ? and where are you getting your DVD's to rip in the first place ? Buy them then rip them for the fun of it ?

you know, it is not illegal in every country to do a backup of your DVDs. ;)

In Germany it is allowed (legal) to do a backup for personal use if you want. Even if you have just rent a DVD or Audio-CD you are allowed to make a copy for personal use. And it is also legal to do a close friend a favor and make a copy for him.

But these are no enforceable rights it is only allowed to do so in Germany (till now) and the companies try to prevent that by copy protecting the CDs and DVDs. But there is already some kind of european law on the way to interdict the circumvention of the copy protections and treat it as a criminal act - so no good news for the future. :(

I didnt know that man, thanks for clearing that up for me.
I know here, It's illegal to do anything.hehe
Just weird how you can rent out a DVD, and make a backup for personal use.. I find that very funny ;)
I guess I should look into it..

Unlike just blatently stealing software, being able to copy DVDs has many non-illegal appilications. Imagine if you burned your own DVD and then could not extract the data. It's important to keep useful formats as open as possible.

Actually it's only legal to back it up if it's a 1:1 copy. But since the content is altered it's not legal.

Ps - I just encountered the same problem with that Cinemacraft Encoder logo. Spent all day tryin to encoding this movie - what a waste! So if you find a full version of this prog please send it my way

Well, I've actually decided to wait until I can afford CCE, I dont really want to get a warez version. Id prolly feel better paying for it also..I just use DVDx for now..seems to do not a bad job..So thats me done..Thanks for your feedback guys..Also please no more replys to the Q: I asked..thanks
